HTC One A9 Images Leak Yet Again
There have been more leaks and rumors about the HTC One A9 (aka HTC Aero) than we care to remember.
Not much has been specified about the hardware details of the phone, but it’s expected to come with a 13 megapixel camera with a special lens capable of capturing more detailed, advanced images even in poorly lit conditions.
HTC will unveil its next range of smartphones at October 20 event. The protruding rear camera is reportedly of the 13-megapixel variety, while the front shooter is said to be a 4-megapixel UltraPixel camera.
In recent weeks we’ve seen claimed press images of the One A9 showing the different colors that will be on offer, as well as news from the certification process about the various models.
On the busy bottom edge of the device is a microUSB 2.0 port (bad luck to those hoping for Type-C) that is slightly off-center.
The images show the design of a curved aluminum unibody with inlaid plastic lines in the antennas resembling the well-known iPhone 6. Specifications are still unrevealed, but performance is expected to include a 5-inch Full HD screen, Snapdragon 617 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of expandable storage.
HTC is one of the first smartphone manufacturers to announce when the latest Android update will be arriving for their devices after Google officially released the Android 6.0 Marshmallow recently.
This has become a bit of a staple in their designs and most people familiar with their phones can usually recognize them easily compared to devices by competitors, which has resulted in a lot of popularity for HTC on the market. It looks like a nice enough device, though, and if HTC can get the One A9 on several carriers and price it competitively, the One A9 could help HTC’s less than stellar financials.
One thing we know is that there is still no certainty regarding the specs sheet of the HTC One A9.
