Candidates square of in Democratic debate

Tuesday is the first nationally televised debate among the 2016 Democratic presidential hopefuls.
Five candidates are squaring off, but there is a lot of attention on how two of them are going to interact.
As for Clinton, she reiterated a point she has made repeatedly about her emails: She acknowledges she made a mistake and is doing her best to accommodate questions about it. The former secretary of state reiterated her call for more robust U.S. action to stop the Syrian civil war and defended her judgment on global issues, despite having voted for the 2002 invasion of Iraq.
Many Democrats in Northeast Florida are still undecided about who should move on to the general election.
“All the shouting in the world is not going to … end this frightful violence”, Sanders responds, refusing to directly attack Clinton. It’s not like Sanders is against gun control, it’s just that Clinton and O’Malley, the former Maryland governor, have a longer and stronger record, and they used that to to put a few of the first dings in what has been Sanders’ charmed presidential bid.
National polls now show Hillary Clinton as the party’s frontrunner, but the Democratic Party of Eau Claire said Bernie Sanders is a close contender.
During the October. 13 Democratic debate, Donald Trump completely slammed Hillary Clinton and the rest of the Democrats on Twitter.
Another prediction from the political professor was that one or two candidates might drop out as a result of the debate. And Sanders is not exempt – he’s even done that classic Sanders finger wag at his opponents. “We need to stand up and say, enough”.
Although there was speculation that Vice President Joe Biden would appear at tonight’s debate, CBS reports that Biden will not be there.
According to the Huffington Post, protesters were surprised by Clinton’s appearance and expected one of the other Democratic candidates to arrive.
Cammarano tells ABC6 that despite their low poll numbers the debate is still important for Chafee, Jim Webb and especially Martin O’Malley.
