Denzel Washington to helm episode of Grey’s Anatomy
Washington will direct the ninth episode of the ABC medical drama, now in its 12th season, according to TVLine.
Denzel Washington will sit in the director’s chair for episode nine of Grey’s Anatomy, which can only mean one thing: it will be the lituation.
Written by the show’s head writer Stacy McKee, the episode will begin filming later this month and is scheduled to be broadcast during November sweeps (when all programmes have their ratings heavily documented to determines funding/the success of the show).
Denzel Washington is taking a little time off from his movie star career to direct an episode of “Grey’s Anatomy”.
Spoilers for “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 12 suggest that fans will finally learn more about Dr. Stephanie.
Washington comes to the series as it’s undergoing a bit of a renaissance, post-McDreamy, along with its main character.
However, showrunner Shonda Rhimes doesn’t seem so keen on that idea, having previously told E!
“The father of my children” was Meredith’s playful reply, referencing the time she and Derek ended up sleeping together after they met at a bar.

Aside from his upcoming work on GREY’S, Washington will also be seen on the big screen opposite Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, and Vincent D’Onofrio in the western THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN sometime next year. Maggie also appears to be mortified that she slept with an intern and bemoans the fact to her sister, Meredith, asking who would even screw an intern.
