Kanye West auditions for ‘American Idol’
Kanye West auditioned for “American Idol” this weekend.
Kanye West is trying to make it in the music industry… again.
Kanye West high-fives Ryan Seacrest after making a surprise appearance during the American Idol auditions on Saturday (October 10) in San Francisco, Calif.
Kanye West apparently isn’t limiting his ambitions to a planned White House run.
Ryan Seacrest soon posted a celebratory photo of West, revealing he had received the Golden Ticket to get to the next stage in the competition.
The rapper picked his own 2005 chart topping single “Gold Digger” as his audition song and delivered an a cappella version of the track which included lines referencing Lopez.
Kanye’s audition in San Francisco Bay Area capped off his long day as he was also spotted earlier that day with President Barack Obama during the Democratic fundraiser’s event.
The rapper left Jennifer Lopez in giggles after surprising her and fellow judges Harry Connick, Jr and Keith Urban on the USA talent show.
E Online also reports that the proud wife also uploaded a snap on Instagram of her man performing before the judges and captioned it with “SURPRISE!“. After getting a few actual presidential advice from Barack Obama and going on a Twitter rant about in-app purchases on children’s iPad games, he’s auditioned for American Idol. “So you’ve got to be cool with that”. Kim captured the moment and posted a screenshot of the audition to her Instagram account. “Second important tip: saying you have a “beautiful, dark twisted fantasy”… that’s what’s known as “off message” in politics”.
The 38-year-old rapper announced that he was interested in running for president during an acceptance speech at the VMA’s this year.
The shoes were apparently Kanye’s gift to Obama.
“And number three, do you really think that this country’s gonna let a black guy from the south side of Chicago, with a amusing name, to be president of the United States?”
