IOS 9.0.2 jailbreak expected to release by end of October
Apple patched up the iOS 8.4 jailbreak in that update, putting an end to having a jailbreak on the latest version of iOS.
At the same time, Mac Rumors pointed out that Apple has already blocked the signing of iOS 8.4.1 and iOS 9, as their way to prevent the hack that could happen on an iOS 9.0.1 jailbreak download.
However, like every new OS has its own ups and downs, this OS too needs many updates to flawless it and have it function the way it is originally meant to and that will take a few time.
Of course, that’s not because jailbreak developers are at a loss.
It’s been expressed that jailbreakers are now facing a whole new demon with the new iOS 9 Kernel Patch Protections that are largely supposed to deter this practice. However, just note, that future jailbreakers will need to restore to iOS 9.1 (or whatever firmware the jailbreak drops for) inside of iTunes; meaning an OTA update to 9.1 will need to be overwritten later.
On September 16, Apple released iOS 9.0, during the launch event of the iPhone 6S. Nevertheless, it will most probably arrive later this month or in early November, corresponding to the debut of the forthcoming iPad Pro.
While we are unsure what’s new in the iOS 9.1 beta 5, as the release notes shared nothing in the way of details about fixes.
