Lamar Odom, former National Basketball Association and reality TV star, hospitalized in Nevada

The basketball star checked into Dennis Hoff’s Love Ranch South on Saturday in the town of Crystal near Pahrump, and was found unconscious in his room by a member of the staff Tuesday afternoon after days of partying. It is not known how long he might have been in that state, witnesses said.

Brothel owner Denis Hof told DailyMail.com that a Kardashian rep collected Odom’s belongings from the premises.

The manager was summoned and when he rolled Odom on his side, he saw “mucus-type liquid coming out of his nose and mouth“. Immediately next discovery, the ambulance was called and promptly took Dennis to the hospital where he was intubated by physicians, meaning the 35-year old could not breathe on his own. He was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Las Vegas – about 60 miles away.

A few outlets compared the situation to Bobbi Kristina Brown, the late daughter of Whitney Houston who in January was found unconscious in her home.

Odom, who was the 2011 sixth man of the year as the NBA’s top reserve and won Olympic bronze with the United States of America in Athens in 2004, has endured numerous personal hardships in his life.

Hof said Odom had been taking herbal Viagra and had drunk part of a bottle of cognac since arriving, but had no knowledge of his use of any other drugs.

TMZ notes that sources have reported that Khloe and Kim Kardashian, as well as Kris Jenner, are heading to visit Lamar at a Las Vegas hospital where he is now admitted. Most recently, he was signed and waived by the Knicks at the conclusion of the 2014-15, without appearing in a game.

Meanwhile, Hollywood Life reports that earlier this year, Lamar’s friends, Jamie Sangouthai and Bobby Heyward both died from an “alleged drug overdose”.

World Peace clearly was distraught about Odom’s health after the game.
