Jared Leto And Mark Ruffalo Hit New York Comic Con In Disguise
Costumes and disguises are the norm at New York Comic Con, which made it the ideal opportunity for “Avengers: Age of Ultron” actor Mark Ruffalo to head to the event undetected.
“Doctor Who” actor Matt Smith wore a Bart Simpson mask in 2013 to chat with fans, compliment cosplayers, and to check out the floor. The year 2015 was no exception as ReedPOP proudly came up with the tenth edition of its “New York Comic Con” (NYCC) fiesta last week. It’s a scary getup, one that the Joker himself might don if he wasn’t such an egomaniac.
“#NYCC they had no idea”, the Oscar victor wrote on his post.
Leto, pictured as a baboon below, took to Snapchat, Twitter and Instagram to document his adventures fooling attendees.
For his part, Ruffalo – who I did not catch on camera – was wearing a mask of a cigar-chomping man with a really large mouth. Sadly, we don’t get to see a picture of him posing with someone as the Green Goliath.
The Hulk, aka Mark Ruffalo, also documented his secret rampage through the Javits Center on social media.
Fans were inspired by the first trailer for “Suicide Squad”, which debuted in July.
So next time you ask for a photo with a few random guy at a comic convention, be sure to double check they’re not a few superhero – or supervillain – in disguise.
