Lamar Odom Found Unconscious at Nevada Brothel, Airlifted to Hospital

Authorities say former NBA and reality TV star Lamar Odom has been hospitalized after he was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel. Instead, an ambulance took the 35-year-old by road to the Desert View Hospital in nearby Pahrump.

“A call for an ambulance was made on Tuesday at 3.15pm, but when a helicopter arrived to take the 6′ 10” sportsman to hospital, they realised he was too tall and so had to be transported by land.

The official reason was a leg contusion, or a bruise, but he actually left the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Vegas to visit former teammate Lamar Odom. Hof is known for his own onetime reality show, “Cathouse”, on HBO.

Until Sunday, when Lamar seemed “a bit somber”, Hof said, because people were “calling and bothering him”.”Police couldn’t find drugs”, Hof said. “[He was] still eating and eating healthy, but staying alone”. “It’s incredibly sad”, said Hof, who turns 69 on Wednesday.

Just days before Lamar Odom was fighting for his life in a Las Vegas hospital, he was partying with young women and in “high spirits” during a night out.

Odom was suspended during the 2000-01 season for violating the NBA’s anti-drug policy for the second time in eight months.

Kardashian has expressed concerns for him, especially after his best friend died this year.

In August, Kardashian was unnerved by her ex-husband because of disguisting behavior and deep denial about the end of their marriage.

“I can’t help but to be up right now…”, he tweeted early Wednesday.

A year later, he played briefly for the Dallas Mavericks before returning to the Clippers for one season. In seven seasons with the team, he won the Sixth Man of the Year award in 2010-11, while winning back-to-back championships with the likes of Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol from 2009-2010. He has not played in the NBA since.
