One Direction wasn’t Zayn’s ‘bag’
Liam said: “One Direction was never really Zayn’s kind of bag”.
Liam Payne has broken hearts everywhere by speaking about Zayn Malik’s departure from One Direction, noting that losing a member was “not necessarily a bad thing”.
Their decision to take a break was revealed earlier this year and although a few believe it heralds the end of the band, Louis Tomlinson insists it’s normal for groups to take a few time out, especially having had such a hectic five years. I guess that’s kind of what drove him to do what he did in the end, which was not necessarily a bad thing.
Since One Direction announced their (temporary) split, fans have been dying to know when the lads will decide to come back. And, you know, he’s off doing what he loves as well, so both parties are winners in the end of a disaster of a situation.
Payne and bandmates Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan are preparing to release One Direction’s fifth studio album, Made In The A.M., on 13 November 2015.
He explained: “I think we’re going to miss it more than anything but we do need to have a little bit of time out just to…” Once we kind of take it in for all it is, because we’ve spent five years touring every year and not touring for a year next year is going to be quite freakish. “We’re just taking a break and seeing a bit of the fam, enjoy our houses, that kind of thing”. But we will still see plenty of each other.
“I can’t say exactly how long the break will be because we don’t want to put pressure on ourselves by putting a time limit on it. We are really appreciating every show we do now, every single moment”.
A source told the tabloid the band will not tour their fifth album and will instead part company for a year because they want to focus on solo projects.
