Steven Spielberg: ‘I’ll Probably Do Indiana Jones 5 With Harrison Ford’
“We’ve gotta figure this out because now, Tom is tied with Harrison Ford: Harrison and I did four movies, Tom and I have done four movies”.
“I’ve got to make another one with Tom, that’ll be five for Tom, five for Harrison”. There’s still a lot of work to go, and sussing out which pop culture wont be included is the first step in putting the rest to paper. With Daniel Day-Lewis in everything else!’
“Indiana Jones 5” might be happening, and if it does, it will be due to a few in-good-fun competition between Harrison Ford and Tom Hanks.
Whatever the case may be, Steve Spielberg has dropped a very interesting hint about what the future holds for Indiana Jones, and it sounds like Ford will definitely factor into it.
Steven Spielberg says “Ready Player One” would be adapted into film with the entire “pop culture thing” which means it would not include references to any of his films.
Would you like to see Harrison Ford make a return in a few capacity for Indy V?
Has Steven Spielberg confirmed the development of an upcoming film or is it just an offhand remark and joke?
In a recent interview Steven Spielberg dished about his careful treatment of the “Ready Player One” movie. After resuming the role of Han Solo, back in cinemas December 16 in “Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens” and Rick Deckard in “Blade Runner”, why not Indiana Jones?
Ford last played the character in 2008, in the poorly received indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. However, earlier this year, Kathleen Kennedy, the president of Lucasfilm, said that another Indy film is “in the cards”, but they haven’t started working on a script. Producer Frank Marshall has said that another installment is far off.
A lot of people have their own theories about “Indiana Jones 5”, and a few even think that the franchise’s next big star will be “Jurassic World” actor Chris Pratt.
