Tracy Morgan Makes Triumphant Return to ‘SNL’ in New Promos
He later surprised everyone by presenting at the 2015 Emmy Awards in September, and judging by how heartfelt and amusing it was, this Saturday’s episode of SNL is sure to be just as good. Morgan teams up with Bobby Moynihan-whom he confused with SNL alum Horatio Sanz-in a promo to tease this week’s show, jokingly forgetting his seven-season run as a cast member.

“When you have traumatic brain damage – as you can see the scars on my head – at that moment it first happened, when I didn’t see any hope and I couldn’t walk, before they taught me how to stand up and sit down again, you don’t feel [like you’ll recover]”, Morgan candidly told reporters backstage.
Tracy Morgan returns to Studio 8H for the first time since his vehicle accident in June 2014.
Watch Tracy Morgan host “SNL” with musical guest Demi Lovato on Saturday at 11:30 p.m. EST on NBC. But make no mistake: SNL isn’t his home, literally nor figuratively. He also plans on getting everyone in the building pregnant, of course. He reportedly joked about his speech therapy during the gigs, according to Refinery29.
The SNL veteran will return to host the long-running sketch comedy show this weekend and the promos were released on Wednesday.
The man behind “SNL” favorites such as Brian Fellow and Astronaut Jones was involved in a six-vehicle accident on the New Jersey Turnpike past year, which left one person dead and four injured. Morgan’s friend, James McNair was killed in the crash. Morgan recently also tweeted about his first time performing stand-up since the crash at New York’s Comedy Cellar earlier this week.
