Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs and National Security, Sartaj Aziz has said the tension between India and Pakistan posed a danger to the regional peace, urging the worldwide community to take notice of the situation.
“Pakistan has tried to project itself as the victim of intimidation by India, and, I think, this is where Indian diplomacy has to be alert to ensure that Pakistan doesn’t get a sympathetic response”.

Islamabad organised the first set of direct dialogue between the Taliban and the Afghan government in July, but another round was abandoned after the announcement of Taliban chief Mullah Omar’s death.
He underlined the achievements of his government in transport, health, education and energy sectors, adding that the country’s economy has stabled because of his government’s people-friendly polices.
He said the judicial commission was formed in the larger interest of the country and to end the politics of agitation, but, unfortunately, things had not changed after report of the commission.
