Ruckus at BJP’s rally after Ajay Devgn fails to reach on time

A crowd waiting to hear actor Ajay Devgn clashed with the police at a poll meeting venue in Biharsharief of Nalanda district when the star campaigner was late in reaching there.

Devgn, who was supposed to tackle the assembly for BJP candidate Sunil Kumar, got here round 1 pm as an alternative of the scheduled 10:30 am. He could not land his chopper and had to return back. Ajay had to make do with just waving at the crowds as suddenly there was a huge ruckus.

He tweeted, “Didn’t expect such an overwhelming turnout at Bihar rallies yesterday (October 13), my request to administration for better arrangements next time”.

The public function was organised by the BJP leaders to campaign in favour of their candidate and Ajay Devgn was to address the rally. According to reports, the rally was cancelled due to security reasons after which Devgan didn’t get off his helicopter and the crowd turned restless.

Police said around 12 people, including a few policemen, were injured.

“I came to know through my movies that kidnapping and murder is common in Bihar”. Well, we know of Ajay not being an orator and he probably wouldn’t even be too aware about the political scenario. The crowd went berserk seeing one of their favorite stars live.
