Sir Bruce Forsyth returns to Strictly Come Dancing for Children In Need
Sir Bruce Forsyth is to reunite with Tess Daly for a special Strictly Come Dancing as part of BBC Children In Need.
Sir Bruce Forsyth will host a special episode of “Strictly Come Dancing” next month despite suffering a fall last week. The veteran presenter had a minor concussion and was taken to hospital, where he given doctors’ orders to rest for seven days.
Last week, he was forced to pull out of presenting a BBC variety show after slipping and falling at his home.
The bash will be jointly hosted by Sir Terry Wogan, 77, Tess Daly, 46, Fearne Cotton, 34, Rochelle Humes, 26, and Nick Grimshaw, 30.
Jenny Agutter, Laura Main, Stephen McGann and Jack Ashton – who all star alongside current “Strictly” contestant Helen George in the much-loved show – will be swapping their period costumes for fake tans and glitter when they take to the dance floor on November 13.
But he’s back and will be cracking his trademark jokes again for one night only when the show airs its annual Children in Need special in November.
Shortly after leaving Strictly previous year, Sir Bruce gave an exclusive interview to HELLO! magazine, speaking about his emotional departure.
Smash pop bands Westlife and Girls Aloud will collide as band members Shane Filan and Nadine Coyle perform their duet I Could Be for the first time on United Kingdom television.
“So it’s hard to say goodbye, of course it is”.
Tess Daly revealed that nervous celebs are given two chances to get it right, and if they can’t make it through the second they’ll be unceremoniously thrown off the show. “I would have hated to have carried on and then had to stop because I wasn’t feeling well enough”.
Last year’s Children In Need televised telethon raised more than £32.6 million for various charities and saw performances from One Direction, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and a newly reformed S Club 7.
