Showers to give way to sunshine by Tuesday afternoon
A handsome Sunday is in store with mostly sunny skies and only a trace chance of showers.
With the large swing in temperatures from night to day, expect to see fall color start to explode across the Carolinas and Georgia. As the fog burns off we will have mostly sunny skies through the early afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 70s.
Tuesday night will be mostly clear with overnight lows in the upper 40s for the Upstate and low 40s in the mountains. The high will reach a mere 60 degrees.
Monday: A cold front will move through the region on Monday morning.
High pressure will build in behind a cool front across Acadiana this weekend helping to serve a generous heap of fine October weather. Calm wind becoming west around 5 miles per hour in the afternoon. In fact, highs in the low to mid 80s look possible Thursday. Otherwise, partly cloudy with a low around 31. Otherwise, partly cloudy with a low around 34.
