Man shot outside Cowboys stadium dies
Family members of the man shot Sunday night after the Cowboys game in the AT&T Stadium parking lot says, they’re taking him off life support.
According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, 43-year-old Richard Sells of Arlington was pronounced dead at 8:44 p.m., the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office reported.
In a Facebook post, Sells” sister, Victoria Gunning wrote: “Whatever time God has for me left on this earth, I will miss seeing his attractive little face, hearing is precious words, missing his arms hugging me saying, “I love you sister'”.
Arlington Police say, Rick Sells was shot while trying to break up a fight. “We’re going to sign the donor papers so that his lovely heart and organs will live on through others”. He was removed from life support earlier Wednesday.
Marvin Rodriguez, 28, of Dallas was arrested at the scene Sunday. He’s being held on a $200 bond.
A GoFundMe page set up in the wake of the incident indicated that Sells was engaged and expecting a daughter.
