An Actual Chook Runs The Twitter Account Of This WA Chicken Shop
What’s the point of hiring a pricey social media agency when a chicken will do it for free? Apparently you don’t even have to be human.
According to Australia’s 9 News, the Chicken Treat barbecue chicken chain has placed a keyboard in a henhouse and is hoping that a talented chicken named Betty will eventually type a comprehensible word. Of course, being a chicken restaurant, they then nearly certainly murdered her whole family and turned them into nuggets.
Perhaps in a sign of apathy, Betty ended her most recent tweet with a “k”.
Unfortunately, Betty has only come up with nonsensical letters and symbols via the computer stationed in her coop, although the company did notice a three letter word on the feed. It’s safe to say she’s got a bit to go before hitting five-letter glory.
The restrictions are that it has to consist of at least a five lettered English word.
And now, for no particular reason, here’s legendary director Werner Herzog with his thoughts on chickens in general.
None of the blame can be put on Chicken Treat, surely – a recent video uploaded by the chain shows the rigorous training they put Betty through to prepare herself to tweet.
