Marriott global Named One of the Best Multinational Workplaces 2015
Anyone who has seen the SAS campus, which has its own gym, medical facility, cafeterias offering a wide variety of food, and endless free M&Ms, as well as a site featuring sculpture and art, doesn’t have much trouble understanding how SAS continually ranks as a best place to work. “Sharing this recognition with other global leaders in people management and motivation as recognized by Great Place to Work® validates the success of our people management and the emphasis we place in our employees”, said Inaki Cebollero, Atento’s Chief People Officer. “Doing so influences others to share their passion and creates an environment of mutual trust”.
So far this year, in addition to the U.S., SAS has also been among the top workplaces in Australia, Belgium, Brazil, China, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, The Netherlands, Portugal and Spain. The company ranked No. 1 in Greece. “At the same time, our research into the World’s Best suggests companies shouldn’t lose sight of the importance of esprit de corps – and of cultivating a friendly, fair and fun community at work”.
This year, more than 2,050 subsidiaries of multinational companies participated in the Great Place to Work survey worldwide. “While amenities may vary across our regional offices, what remains consistent is what we stand for as a global organization”.
Companies are chosen for the World’s Best Multinational Workplaces list predominantly based on data gathered from employee surveys and direct comments from employees. Furthermore, the company would also need to have 40% of its total workforce outside its home country’s headquarters.
EMC Corporation has been ranked sixth, adopted by software program big Microsoft at seventh place within the list compiled by analysis and consulting agency “Great Place to Work Institute”.
