Apple opens official @AppleMusicHelp Twitter account
Adding extra support makes sense for another reason too; Apple Music will become the first Apple service to make the jump to Android, which is likely to mean lots of users new to Apple’s interface.
Apple is working on increasing the number of songs supported by its music library matching services to 100,000.
That being said, the company still lacks an official company account.
Basically just like all other Twitter help accounts, this account will keep an eye out on social media for anyone having issues with Apple Music. Apple SVP of marketing Philip Schiller, for instance, regularly shares upbeat Apple articles from the tech world, whereas Eddy Cue went as far as responding to feature requests before iOS 9 rolled out. Sure, we’ve seen tweets come from Apple execs, but unlike other companies who have set up dedicated social media pages and accounts, Apple is strangely missing from the picture.
The three months of free Apple Music trials are over and Apple is on its way to fetch in new subscribers and retain the existing ones to expand its customer base. “We’re ready to assist Mon-Sun from 6am-8pm PDT” states the Apple Music account on Twitter, reported MacRumors. The move will also help the company arrive at more specific details over the problems users are facing with the new service. However, it is limited to Apple Music inquiries.
