Aviva Drescher Has Been Fired from the Real Houswives of New York City

Aviva Drescher, will not return to the seventh season of ‘The Real Houswives of new York City’. A source confirmed to the Us Weekly, the Aviva has been fired from the show after two seasons.

Aviva, the 45 years old author and mother of four kids, is best remembered for the leg throwing incident that took place on July 22, 2014 at Manhattan restaurant Le Cirque. It was during the final of season 6 of the show, when the co-casts accused her of lying and faking of her illness.

Aviva at that very moment yanked off her prosthetic leg and slammed that on the table, commenting the only thing fake about her…is this! The 45 years old lady then threw her prosthetic leg across the room as partygoers gasped and laughed in shock.

With an exclusive interview with US Weekly, the day after the episode unveiled, Aviva said “I think me getting angry and throwing my leg on the table was really funny and crazy. I get a hoot out of it. But of course, I was definitely brought to the end of my rope, or the end of my leg so to speak.”

In season 5 and season 6 of the show, The Real Housewives of New York City, she was the first confirmed cast. LuAnn de Lesseps was the prime cast of the show from season 1 to 5. But she will return in the season 6 of the show only as one of the recurring members of the storyline.

Departure of Drescher is also described in a broad way in Page Six when the page mentioned about Helena Christensen, the supermodel. Helena was invited to join the show, but she has declined to join. She is not joining RHONY’s season 7 cast.
