Abbas also criticised the United States for vetoing the UN Security Council resolutions in favour of the Palestinians, stressing that the US’s actions undermine efforts to prosecute Israel over its crimes against the Palestinian since 1948.
Netanyahu scolded governments around the world for cheering the pact, which leaders in the US, China and elsewhere have heralded as a momentous triumph for global diplomacy.
Whatever global agreements or resolutions were reached on the matter, “Israel will do whatever it must do” to defend the state and its people, he said. “Israel expects the Palestinian Authority to abide by its commitments”, Netanyahu said.
“Throughout history, the Jewish people have learned the heavy price of silence”, he continued. Here it is. It’s a 400-page screed detailing his plan to destroy the State of Israel.
“Any path going forward requires one thing: You have to fight terror”, Netanyahu said, reiterating his complaints about Palestinian incitement and praise for violence. The third edition, published in 2012, is the one with the cover Netanyahu displayed on Thursday, as can be seen on Khamenei’s website.

Following the speech of Palestine President Mahmoud Abbas at the UN General Assembly, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and Abbas led the ceremony of raising the Palestine flag at the rose garden, ABC News reports.
On the decades-old conflict with the Palestinians, he said he was prepared to “immediately resume direct peace negotiations” without preconditions, although the Palestinians condition a resumption of dialog on an end to settlement building and the release of prisoners.
The UN-proposed solution envisages the creation of an independent Palestinian state within pre-1967 borders, alongside Israel.
