Did Harry Styles Write One Direction’s ‘Perfect’ About Taylor Swift?
One Direction’s Harry Styles has been linked to Kiwi model Georgia Fowler. So could “Perfect” be a revenge song? “Perfect” includes a lyric claiming that Harry was just “someone to write break-up songs about”. This seems to be in response to “I Wish You Would” from Taylor’s 1989 album.
The track is also said to bear similarities to Taylor’s recent song “Style” and features the lines: “If you like when I’m driving with the windows down/If you like going places we can’t even pronounce/If you like to do whatever you’ve been dreaming about/Baby you’re perfect”. The insider type added, “He doesn’t want to dish the dirt but a relationship as intense as theirs has provided lots of inspiration”.
It was previously revealed the track, which was penned by members Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson, was inspired by Harry’s short-lived romance with United States superstar Taylor Swift, which ended in January 2013. Honestly, we’re not so sure.
Styles and Jenner began dating in November 2013 and broke up in 2014; but a rekindling might be possible as, “After the show at Barclaycard Arena (Birmingham, England), Kendall and Cara went backstage where the guys were having a party”.
And while we wait for Friday, let us shift our attention from one former couple to another former couple – Hendall.
