Turn your Live Photos into GIFs with new Live GIF app
A new app called Live GIF will take your live photos and turn them into looping GIFs.
These Live Photos can be captured just like a normal image.
The latest release from Priime Inc.is Live GIF, an app that makes the Internet even more wonderful for cats and their owners.
Converting a Live Photo to a GIF or video is quick and easy. From there, you can simply select the Live Photos you wish to convert to a GIF or video, and then you can share them to different social networks on the fly. The developers are also the creators of Priime, the image editor for iPhone. As a quick refresher, these are a cross between a photo and a video – 1.5 seconds of footage is recorded before and after the shot is taken, and when you press down hard on a Live Photo, using 3D Touch, it plays. On the home screen, this lets you quickly open the last Live Photo and turn it in to a GIF immediately. Testing the technological limits was on Priime’s menu as well. The resulting file can then be shared anywhere, and the app provides a simple sharing mechanism for quick access to things like iMessage and Facebook.
On the new handsets, you can bring the Live Photos to life by pressing down on the image.
And Live GIF also fully supports 3D Touch technology on the new handsets. After opening, you’ll be greeted with all of the Live Photos on your device. What this means is that Grandma and Grandpa will not have to do anything special other than open the link you send them to view the GIF you’ve made out of a Live Photo.
The newly released Live GIF app is absolutely flawless in what it does, and for a one-off download fee of $1.99, you get what can only be described as the most to-the-point feature set for an app of this nature.
Expand your creativity with your Live Photos.
