A random act of kindness given her has been just too unbelievable for a pizza driver that she could not help but shed tears of joy.
Markle told her: “We’ve been teaching our church this last month about being generous, and so we did something special for you today”.
A church in Pickerington, in the hopes of emphasizing random acts of kindness, surprised a pizza delivery driver with a tip of more than $1,000.
Markle asked her the biggest tip she’d ever received and she said it had been about $10.
What the church didn’t know was that Natasha, who lives in an apartment with her two year old son, had missed several days of work due to illness and as a result was short of money to pay her October rent.
After bursting into tears, Natasha held the money to her heart and hugged the pastor as the congregation applauded, according to video footage of the event.
It turned out that church members had collected $1,046 to present to the driver.
Natasha said the gift “can help a lot” and thanked everyone in the audience.
“Thank you so much”, she tearfully told the congregation. “Go, do we know this money is going to be a blessing to her in some way and meet a need in her life”, he prayed.
