Molly Glynn is No More; Veteran Actress Died While Riding Bike
Molly Glynn died on Friday September 5, 2014 after she was stuck by an uprooted tree during a bike ride with her husband, Joe Foust. The veteran stage actress, 46, was on a bike ride with Joe when the incident happened.

The couple was riding in Chicago’s Erickson Woods when they were trapped in a fast moving storm around 3 pm. The veteran actress was declared dead in the Evanston NorthShore Hospital on Saturday, September 6, 2014 due to her injuries. Husband Joe was a bit ahead of her wife when he heard Glynn shouting that they should take cover. Within seconds a tree was uprooted and crashed on the bike in which Molly Glynn was riding. The actress was wearing a bicycle helmet at that time.
The actress played the role of ER doctor in the NBC’s ‘Chicago Fire’ and became famous. She also appeared in the episodes of ‘Boss’ and ‘Early Edition’. Molly had left her husband and two children forever.
Shocked husband
Husband Joe broke down after the incident. He shared some pictures of them in Facebook account and commented “I couldn’t save her. I couldn’t save her. She’s gone.”
Michael Halberstam said
The artistic director at the Chicago’s Writers theatre, Michael Halberstam explained to CBS that “Molly was a marvelous actress and a completely warm hearted and generous human being. She had grace, sophistication and a sparkling, sexy, sassy stage presence.” Michael also said “She could transform from a princess to a flower girl in the twinkling of an eye. She was a loving mother and wife and everyone who met her fell in love with her.”
