Rudhramadevi 8th Day Box Office Collection
The movie is produced by Gunasekhar and Raagini Guna.
What to do: Anushka Shetty deserves a pat on her back for doing this film and being convinced with the script. Wait for the film to premiere on television. The film, that features Tamil star Arya in the lead was scheduled for an October 2 release, but was postponed to avoid a packed Dasara calendar.
Rani Rudrama Devi, who ruled the Kakatiya dynasty in the Deccan Plateau, Rudhramadevi is blessed with an interesting plot.
Actress Nithya Menon looks pretty good and she has portrayed her character in a decent way. How does she save her kingdom? What happens to her marriage life? But why Rana chose to do this film after a fabulous film like Baahubali, is a question he needs to answer.
Rudhramadevi was the ruler of a kingdom called Orugallu from Telangana State, which is now being referred to as Warangal. But her coronation was not smooth, for her father and king had to hide for many years the fact that his child and heir to the throne was not a son. She is well known in the regions of Andhra Pradesh, as a great warrior who is known to possess the power of ten men. Not just using the technology, but the movie is actually made in 3D. At a time when queens were not seen as fit to reign kingdoms, Minister Shivadeviah (Prakash Raj) advises King Ganapatideva (Krishnam Raju) to let the world think his daughter was a boy and, hence, Rudhradeva (Anushka Shetty) is born. Everything is changed when Ganapathi Devudu’s wife gives birth to a baby girl Rudramadevi (played by Anushka). She worked hard for war sequences and sword fights. Actor Rana was handsome and he provided the necessary support to the cast.
This historial drama and Tamil-Telugu bilingual is not a patch on its predecessor “Baahubali”. So Rudramadevi will cash that point. Allu Arjun stole the show and he is the major highlight of this movie.
On the whole, Rudrama Devi is a decent attempt from Gunasekhar. Allu Arjun’s diction and his rough look were impressive.
