Google Releases 2 New Nexus Phones
After the announcement of the new Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P by Google yesterday, many potential buyers were curious about how well the new 12.3 megapixel camera would perform, without having Optical Image Stabilization. Both the devices feature fingerprint sensors and fast charging (with USB Type-C port). The 5.7-inch device is made from aeronautical-grade aluminum, with a screen that occupies 74 percent of the size of the device. The Nexus 5X will come with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system baked into the device. However, a purported leak suggests the Nexus 6P is priced at Rs 39,999 and the 5X is priced at Rs 31,900. The smartphone features a 5.2-inch Full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution.
Google also revived its Nexus 5 by working with LG to roll out the Nexus 5X, which boasts performance in a compact and light package.
Both the devices come in totally different colors, which clearly distinguish them very well.
People seem quite happy with Bluetooth speakers, Google must be hoping to convert people over.
Android Marshmallow is now available in more than 70 languages with 6 new additions, including Azerbaijani, Gujarati, Kazakh, Albanian, Urdu and Uzbek. ArsTechnica states that the use of Android on the tablet indicates that Google plans to bring the design of the Pixel lineup to its tablets, which is going to be headlined by the Pixel C. The tablet comes with connectivity options like USB Type C, Bluetooth and WiFi. A Google spokesperson has given a list of apps that can be removed to the folks at BetaNews. Google also goes on to add, “Fingerprint features never leave the device and are not shared with Google (so for example if you setup a new phone, you need to re-enroll your fingers).” Based on the advertisement video of Chromecast, it shows how Chromecast Audio can be productive to users playing games, watching movies, etc. It runs on a 6-core Snapdragon 808 chipset with a battery of 2,700mAh, which is bigger than most smart phones and has a longer battery life.
