JJ Watt dresses as Batman to visit children’s hospital
The 26-year-old Houston Texans defensive end recently surprised kids at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston during its Spirit of Halloween event and showed up dressed up as Batman! Watt’s spare time, he naps (as we saw on Hard Knocks), he jumps super high, he even sneaks in a few time to hang out with Rick Ross on game day.
According to ESPN’s Tania Ganguli, this isn’t the first time Watt’s shown up at the hospital.
As part of his involvement in the community, Watt regularly visits sick children at Texas Children’s Hospital, and does so without any recognition. He spoke in a husky Batman voice as he shook hands with several adults.
The Houston Texans posted a slideshow of Watt’s visit as well as a video preview.
Watt helped children paint pumpkins and also gave out signatures to lots of his adoring fans.
The full feature will be shown on Sunday morning’s edition of “The Today Show” on NBC.
