J.J. Watt dons Batman costume to greet kids at children’s hospital
He’s back, and this time because, as ESPN.com’s Tania Ganguli noted, Watt spent his off day this week dressed up as Batman while visiting kids at the Texas Children’s Hospital.
Something’s been going around the Texans’ locker room, apparently.
Watt is the Texans’ best player, and losing him – or having him at less than 100 percent – would be a major blow to Houston’s defense.
At 6-foot-5 and 290 pounds, it’s rare that J.J. Watt can enter a room unnoticed, but he used a disguise to give kids at Texas Children’s Hospital a Halloween treat this week. In his four National Football League seasons, Watt has earned Defensive Player of the Year honors twice.
Above you can check out highlights from the event, which even sees Watt use his Batman voice. “I just want to be that guy that parents can point to and say, ‘He does it the right way'”. He doesn’t take plays off and is the type of player who eats, breathes and sleeps football.
