Joe Jonas’ funky new band DNCE have been teasing their “Cake By The Ocean” video all week, but now the dessert- and water-themed video is here to view in all its gross-out glory. The video, shot in Huntington Beach, included a huge slice of real cake (which was reportedly “f***ing delicious!”) and has the band rocking out beachside.

The film is set on the beach with females dancing around in Guess swimwear while having a cake fight. “She’s always had a high creative eye so she came up with concept and we rolled with it”, Jonas says. The cake becomes the main feature in the “First Annual worldwide Cake Fight Championships”, which pins Josh “The Fat Few” Ostrovsky in his man-kini against a group of bikini-clad women.

Joe formed DNCE, which is comprised of himself, bass player Cole Whittle, drummer Jack Lawless and guitarist JinJoo Lee, in 2015. Contestants have been pelted with items of cake, with arguable comedian Fat Jewish on one side of the cake & a gaggle of attractive lovely girls on the opposite.WARNING: EXPLICIT LYRICS While the whole entire video is considerably absurd, EW did indicate it does raise questions as to what took place to all of the cake at the complete of the shoot.

The bands bassist Cole Whittle summed up the cleanup effort: ‘We all just ate the cake off the sand.

Joe also revealed the band will start touring in November, and they will also be releasing their new EP SWAAY in the coming months.
