Man shot boss at Glenside cab company in dispute over money
A former employee at a cab company allegedly shot the owner of the Glenside Cab Company in the chest in Abington Friday afternoon, according to Abington Police Deputy Chief John Livingood.
33, worked for Montco Transportation and felt that the taxi firm owed him money, according to a news release from the Abington Township Police Department. Officials said the father of three was in stable condition.
The driver was later arrested by Philadelphia Police after they stopped his blue sedan at 72nd Street and Woodland Avenue in Southwest Philly, NBC10 reports.
As for Clark, police say he fled to Philadelphia but didn’t make it far before police tracked him down.
Authorities say the victim was taken to a local hospital. Other people were in the business at the time of the shooting, but no one else was injured, he said.
Clark is now facing a long list of 39 charges, including aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, possession of an instrument of crime, simple assault, unlawful restraint and robbery, according to online court information.
