Nadigar Elections: Actor Vishal attacked

Prior to this, actress Sangeetha was reportedly manhandled by a mob at the venue and when Vishal came forward to intervene in this, he was attacked, it seems.

Chennai: The high-profile Nadigar Sangam elections today saw Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan coming to cast their votes. People would have great respect only if they do such an act.

With two teams, one led by incumbent president R Sarath Kumar and the other led by Nasser, fighting for honors, a royal battle is on the cards. Unconfirmed Sources say that Sarath Kumar and Vishal involved into a heated conversation inside the venue and the spat took place.

Vishal was allegedly attacked and beaten by people from the opposite faction and had to get first aid. Vishal is said to have felt faint but recovered in a while. “I feel very ashamed”. By Sunday evening, the Nadigar Sangam Elections results will be revealed. The police is now giving extra protection to the actresses who have come to vote.

Superstar Rajinikanth and Vijay are the two of the top league stars who have so far cast their votes in the Nadigar Sangam Elections for which polling has begun this morning at 7 am.
