Drunk Woman Calls 911 Pretending to Be Olivia Pope

The woman was arrested and charged with public intoxication and faces a charge for misusing the 911 system.
According to Iowa City police criminal complaints, around 2:45 a.m. Friday, 20-year-old Kelsey J. Cousins called 911 and claimed to be Olivia Pope, the main character in the ABC drama, Scandal.
Cousins, who according to her Facebook attends University of Iowa, told police that Cyrus Beene, a character played by Jeff Perry on the show, was outside of the Iowa City bar.
Officer Brad Reinhard reported that Cousins, seen at right, “kept talking about “Olivia Pope” and about a vehicle with a bomb in it that was heading to the White House”. The police complaint stated “everything that the defendant stated was nonsensical and rambling”, and that Cousins had bloodshot, watery eyes, impaired speech, poor balance and smelled of alcohol. The woman admitted to drinking and having a fake ID. Cousins reportedly failed a field sobriety test and was arrested for public intoxication and filing a false police report.
