There was a time when the New Mexico offense pretended to care about the throwing it, but no longer. In just 1:19 Apodaca drove the Lobos 80 yards, capping off the drive with the game tying touchdown to Dameon Gamblin with just 55 seconds left on the clock.

Paul Harris rushed for 125 yards and two touchdowns for Hawaii (2-5, 0-3). The New Mexico Lobos passing attack has averaged 158.5 yards per game (No. 115) compared to the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors defence that ranks No. 33 give up through the air (183.5 yards per game on average).
