Two More Stabbings Thwarted, Attackers Killed
Israeli police say several Israelis are wounded in a suspected shooting attack at a bus station in southern Israel. She said the officers shot and killed the teenager after he tried to stab them. The man was wounded.
The attacker then reportedly used it to shoot at passengers in the bus terminal before being gunned down by police. He was later killed.

Shortly after, a 16-year-old Palestinian was shot dead in occupied East Jerusalem, also for attempting an attack.

According to Israel Defense Forces, three of the attacks occurred in Hebron, one in Jerusalem and one in Qalandia.
Checkpoints have been set up in Palestinian areas of east Jerusalem, where numerous attackers have come from, and a few 300 soldiers on Sunday began reinforcing police.

Yesterday marked another day of intense clashes between the Israeli forces and Palestinians. In consultation with Palestinian security forces, the military extracted the worshippers.
On Friday, Palestinian assailants firebombed the West Bank compound, the first assault on a religious site. The stabbing attacks seem to be opportunistic and although they have been praised by militant groups, Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas has said Palestinians are not interested in a further escalation. In the past month, eight Israelis have been killed in Palestinian attacks, mostly stabbings, while 40 Palestinians, including 19 identified by Israel as assailants, have been killed, according to The Associated Press.
