Alabama vs. Texas A&M Aggies Live Stream: Watch Online SEC College Football
It wouldn’t be Tigers and Gators without a insane finish and an even crazier call from purple and gold head coach Les Miles. In 2014 the Aggies took a 5-0 record to Starkville but fell to Mississippi State, the first of five losses in their final seven games. Texas A&M ultimately missed a 52-yard field goal attempt.
“The 6’3”, 240-pound workhorse had 32 carries in the game for 232 yards and two touchdowns, one of which from 55 yards out. “We lean on each other, put this one away and move on with the rest of the season”.
Alabama’s Krystal Rivers and Kat Hutson combined for 42 of the Crimson Tide’s 70 kills in the match, with Rivers earning a double-double with 13 digs, while Hutson hit.
In a game featured possibly the best two teams in the SEC, LSU’s kicker scored the most important touchdown of the game.
By the end of the day, Alabama had an identity to carry with it into the second half.
Georgia now ranks 12th in the SEC in red-zone scoring percentage (80.77 percent), 10th in red-zone touchdown percentage (50 percent) and 12th in third-down conversion percentage (33.33 percent). That’s almost doubled in 2015.
Allen was not made available to reporters, but right tackle Germain Ifedi spoke about the interception returns.
ALABAMA’S TV RECORD: Alabama has compiled a 231-131-4 (.637) all-time record in 366 televised games (not including pay-per-view, tape-delayed or closed circuit telecasts).
That includes their latest rout of Texas A&M, racing out to a 28-6 lead before winning 41-23. The Rebels have won the last six meetings and are 15-4 since 1988.
Kyle Allen, who entered the game having thrown 79 passes without an interception, was 20 of 40 for 263 yards with 1 touchdown and a career-high 3 interceptions. The defense forced five Vanderbilt turnovers, Perry Orth threw well, Brandon Wilds ran for 119 yards, and Pharoh Cooper had a huge catch and a big day, and it was still a 19-10 struggle. Why? “I was trying to do all I can do to help us win the game”.
Alabama built a 28-6 lead midway through the second quarter with Henry rushing 15 times for 178 yards and three scores in the first half and the Tide defense holding the explosive A&M offense 189 total yards. It wasn’t that hard a formula – rattle the A&M quarterbacks, run Derrick Henry. But Coker’s also been turnover prone.
A&M doesn’t have a menacing schedule left either with a road date with LSU the only formidable opponent left. They’re going no huddle.
Now the Crimson Tide face a potential sizable drop in the rankings if they lose today to the Aggies. The quarterback has played better and better and better. The Aggies also got a defensive save on the backline by Grace Wright who pounced on a ball coming off the foot of Tanya Samarzich inside the six-yard box. They all lost. Maybe now we see why he left.
Texas A&M jumped out of the gates quickly and seemed to never let up. Our offensive line is getting better and better, so we have a little more balance in what we’re doing. The flashy spread offense and style points only get you so far in the SEC.
Kentucky (9-4-3, 3-3-2) had its opportunities but couldn’t make the a lot of them with the Aggie defense adding pressure. Power running and slowing down your opponents big backs are what equates to victories in the SEC. The Crimson Tide stuffed A&M’s running game and picked off four passes – three of which they returned for touchdowns – in one of the most impressive defensive performances of the season.
Instead, Michigan State got the lucky bounce and finished the job, staying undefeated at 7-0 with its fourth close win of the season, joining Oregon, Purdue and Rutgers.
While their championship quests to win anything are likely over, the one off-chance to keep their mathematical hopes alive and get them back in the race will be to beat the LSU Tigers.
