Taco Bell teams up with Palo Alto-based DoorDash for delivery service
Delivery will be available initially in more than 90 cities and more than 200 restaurants around Los Angeles, San Francisco and Dallas.

According to Chief Executive Officer of Taco Bell, Brian Niccol, “Taco Bell has always been about value and convenience, and we believe delivery is the next step in catering to today’s on-demand culture that’s driving consumer behavior”. Taco Bell is not your only option; it lists more than 100 restaurants such as LYFE Kitchen, Cafe Brazil and CBD Provisions, although the restaurants listed are not involved in official partnerships. VP of Innovation and On Demand at Taco Bell, Tressie Lieberman stated that they are learning and testing at the pace of the on demand economy.

DoorDash said it expects that its joint venture with Taco Bell will assist it moving towards its objective of doubling its footprint by year end. She said, “We’re thrilled to partner with DoorDash and leverage their like-minded commitment to customer service and innovation”.
Things are looking pretty good for Taco Bell. Moreover, the company has also seen an increase in operating profit by 37%.
