Drakes Hotline Bling gets a music video
Released on the same day as Meek Mill diss track “Charged Up”, “Hotline Bling” is one of the year’s biggest singles, and the newly-released video hits on the track’s magic perfectly.
Since dropping on Apple Music on Monday night – around the same time as the new Star Wars trailer was released – fans have become obsessed with the rapper’s solo dancing in a turtleneck jumper. The song not only has catchy lyrics, but also Drake’s killer moves.
Drake first debuted the song on OVO Sound’s Beats 1 radio show in July with artists including Nick Jonas, Sam Smith and Erykah Badu recording and covering the track live. As soon as the video was released, an internet went into a frenzy trending Drake on Twitter.
Set the mood lighting, and get your own enormous set of white stairs: “Hotline Bling” has called in.
The hit single has been topping the Billboard charts for a few weeks now.
The video, directed by Director X, first shows an office of phone sex operators, before moving on to Drake.
Whether he’s just bopping around in circles, or really getting into it with a few thrusting and salsa moves, Drizzy’s dancing is everything we never knew we needed, reported E Online.
