Tony Bennett Saved My Life-Said Lady Gaga
The decision of having kids of the to-be-parents in the case of Lady Gaga will be decided by the 88 years old jazz legend, Tony Bennett.
Lady Gaga, the 28 years old American singer said that she thought of having children as she was feeling kind of finished with the chaos of her celebrity life. Gaga told her feeling to Parade. She added, “But then I started to spend a lot more time with Tony, and everything just became simpler, more pure, and more perfect. Now I think I’m going to take a lot more time before I have kids and settle down. I just want to sing.”
The singer who is dating Taylor Kinney, the ‘Chicago Fire’ star since 2011 very recently underwent a rough patch in her career during her third studio album ‘ARTPOP’. Gaga even decided to give up music completely.
The “Applause” singer said “Six months ago I didn’t even want to sing anymore.” Gaga added, “The other day, Tony said, ‘I’ve never once in my career not wanted to do this.’ It stung. Six months ago I didn’t feel that way. I tell Tony every day that he saved my life. I was so sad. I couldn’t sleep. I felt dead. And then I spent a lot of time with Tony. He wanted nothing but my friendship and my voice.”
The duo, Tony and Gaga are now preparing for the release of their jazz album “Cheek to Cheek”, which will hit the music office on September 23, 2014. Tony praised Gaga for doing justice in the album.
Tony has told, “I just love what she did on this album.” The 88 years old Bennett added, “She’s up there with Ella Fitzgerald, who was the greatest singer in the world.”
