Jeremy Lin says the Knicks didn’t want him back

The New York Knicks will be the welcoming committee for the returning Charlotte Hornets as the two unbeaten squads this preseason collide at the Time Warner Cable Arena today, Saturday. After a deep miss from Elliott Williams, Kaminsky grabbed the offensive rebound then pushed it back out to Williams, who connected on a 3-pointer to give the Hornets the lead for good.

New York is thriving this preseason, winning all four of its games which include a victory over the Boston Celtics last Friday.

Despite the lack of communication with the Knicks, Lin says he has moved on from the organization. “(But) there’s no animosity. The pre-season has always been used by teams to see what would work best as they go into the regular season, as well as to scout the other teams on how to defend against them.

Of course they have 16 players under contract with a possible 17th player soon (NBA rules stats you can have 15 players on your team, but can only suit up 13 of them for a game).
