Aaron Kromer Punched Boy In Beach Chair Dispute: Authorities

“In the report, made public Monday, Kromer”™s arrest just before 2 a.m. Sunday is detailed as stemming from an argument over beach chairs near his home on Inlet Beach in Florida.

“The victim stated Kromer also told him if he reported him to the police he would kill his family”. After Kromer returned to his residence, his son Zachery discussed the incident with the victims and helped try to find the fishing pole, according to the arrest report.

The report says the 48-year-old Kromer threw a fishing pole into the water, pushed one boy to the ground and then punched him.

He is charged with battery that caused bodily harm, but the sheriff’s office said it was still investigating and additional charges are possible.

The arrest report redacted the three boys’ information but mentioned Dan Imbornone, the complainant, and Steven Slaton, the father of the boy allegedly punched.

Kromer joined the Bills in January after an unceremonious departure from the Chicago Bears in 2014. He lives in Norman, Oklahoma. Dobridnia said he requested a lawyer and has not made a statement to police regarding the incident.

Thus far, there has been no comment from the Buffalo Bills or the National Football League, but you can bet that will change sometime in the near future.

Kromer, 48, was hired this offseason as the Bills’ offensive line coach by Rex Ryan after serving as the offensive coordinator on Marc Trestman’s Bears staff the last two seasons.

Kromer previously coached with the New Orleans Saints (2008-2012), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2005-2007) and Oakland Raiders (2001-2004).
