SEC Media Days 2015: Dan Mullen rocks Kanye West’s adidas Yeezy

Being a head football coach comes with a lot of perks, and Dan Mullen showed off a major one on Twitter on Tuesday.

Thanks to the school’s partnership with Adidas, the Mississippi State head coach showed up to the Hoover, Ala. event wearing Kanye West’s new sneakers – the Yeezy 350 Boost Lows, which are now selling for around $800 a pair on eBay.

Mullen said always being around college students helps keep his youthful spirit and wearing the Yeezys are part of that.

“I try to be swagged up”, he said. “Where I guess if I was a CEO on Wall Street people might not think it was as cool”.

Mississippi State is an Adidas school, so I’m sure Mullen got these without having to search the internet for them considering they are sold out on Adidas’ website.

While some might call Mullen a disconnected old guy, I can’t find it in my bones to slander him for his sneaker choice. “I’ve got a little sock game going today, too”.

It wasn’t just talk from Mullen, either.
