This French couple spent $440k to ‘morph’ into Barbie and Ken

Quentin Dehar (23) and Anastasia Reskoss (20) are obsessed with Barbie and Ken – so much so that they dropped million on plastic surgery to look like them.

The French lovebirds have splurged an eye-watering $322 728 (about R4,4 million) on boob jobs, four nose jobs, lip injections, butt implants, cheek fillers, ear reshaping surgery, botox, eye bag removal surgery, fake tanning, teeth whitening, nail extensions and veneers, according to NY Daily News.

“I started to learn how plastic surgery could allow me to change into a bronzed and lovely doll”. “I aspired to have the flashy cars and luxury designer clothes that my Ken doll had”.

It’s one thing to like Mattel’s popular dolls Barbie and Ken when you’re already past the age of playing with them, and it’s totally something else to want to look like them. So convinced he was that, without waiting to be introduced, he walked over and informed her that he had found the Barbie for his Ken. “My parents provided me with the best education possible and they also bought me all the Barbies that I wanted too”, she said.

Anastasia, who grew up in Russian Federation before moving to Paris, was equally enamoured with her Barbie collection.

While both surgeries made her really happy, her parents weren’t thrilled with the idea of a boob job. “At the end of the day, my parents would rather have a teenage daughter who takes care of her appearance than one who takes drugs”.

Quentin was going through something similar during his growing up years – he felt very average and felt that he somehow needed to become like his childhood idol Ken.

Barbie and Ken is the ultimate form of beauty for this couple, and they’ve spent over $320,000 to prove it.

Quentin plans to have pectoral implants and Botox while Anastasia wants to undergo a further breast augmentation, eye bag removal surgery, ear reshaping and veneers.

Anastasia and Quentin both confessed their plastic surgery dreams to their parents and they happily obliged their wishes. They’ve got a Barbie and Ken lifestyle, too. Paying a fortune on plastic surgery to achieve that is in a league of its own, it goes without saying.
