Retired Cop Arrested For Flashing His Penis & His Gun In Subway

Police are looking for a man they say exposed himself to a woman on a subway platform, then flashed his gun at her brother who tried to follow the man out.

Steven Esposito, 56, of Staten Island, was arraigned Wednesday before Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Guy Mitchell on charges of menacing and public lewdness.

According to the NYPD, just before midnight on Monday, a 38-year-old woman on the southbound platform of the Fifth Avenue N/R station “heard a hissing noise beside her. When she looked to see what the noise was, she observed the suspect manipulating his penis outside of his trousers”.

As the former detective was leaving the station the woman broke down in tears and told a nearby strap-hanger what had happened, cops said. At that point, police said Esposito started to leave the station and the woman who saw him started crying. As the suspect reached the exit, police say he took out a gun and pointed it at the man saying to mind his own business.
