Five Including Juvenile Arrested for Gang-rape, Murder of Minor in Delhi

In yet another gruesome incident, a 14-year old girl was brutally gang raped and murdered in Sonepat, Haryana, while she was returning with her family after watching the Dussehra celebrations on Thursday night.

Sources said the girl was returning home after attending Dussehra celebrations in the Narela area of Delhi.

The body was found by police and four of the accused in the case have been arrested, while one is still absconding. According to a Times of India Report, the accused were drunk and attacked also attacked family members of the girl. The victim’s mother and brother were assaulted by a sharp object in the head, the brother got injured and fell unconscious when tried to chase the auto-rickshaw. SHO Police Station Kundli Dheeraj told Express.

Police soon after getting the information started search operation and arrested one of the accused Parveen Kumar who confessed that he was involved in the murder and rape.

While the whole nation was witnessing the victory of good over evil on the occasion of Vijaydashmi, a 14-year-old girl was kidnapped, raped and murdered few kilometres away from Delhi. Other three accused are Nitin, Deepak and Karan. They allegedly raped the girl, killed her and buried her body. Even though the police and government say they are doing enough to curb such incident, it seems like none of their methods have been efficient.
