Ayushmann Khurrana & Bhumi Pednekar reunite for Aanand L Rai’s ‘Manmarziyan’

The film will be produced by Tanu Weds Manu’s director, Anand L. Rai. It will be directed by Sameer Sharma who made his directorial debut with ‘Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana’.

Actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar will feature in filmmaker Anand L Rai’s next film. I will be acting with Ayushmaan who is a splendid on-screen character.

The performing artist was seen as an overweight young lady in “Dum Laga ke Haisha” and has since shed a ton of weight.

They both looked good together and had a good chemistry, so we really look forward to seeing them in the upcoming film.

Bhumi Pednekar made her debut in YRF banner opposite Ayushmann Khurrana.

Director Sameer also commented on Bhumi’s weight-loss saying, “Bhumi, who is dedicated to losing the last bit of her excess weight by the time the film rolls, is all set to play the quintessential Bollywood heroine”. But it is exactly the role I wanted to do for my second film. “It is a wonderful script and just the right one to do”.

A few sources say that the film set in Punjab and will present Bhumi in a completely different avatar than what she appeared in her debut film.

This is Bhumi’s second film with Ayushmann after Dum Laga Ke Haisha.
