College Football Odds: Public backing Utah +3.5 vs. USC on Saturday
Team A is a flawless 6-0 and has defeated two teams in the current AP Top 25, including one many believed to be a darkhorse College Football Playoff contender until last week. Both teams are looking to make their first-ever trip to the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta. The Aggies are coming off of an incredibly devastating loss to #8 Alabama.
“We’ve got a long list of guys, which is what it takes, and the common denominator with these guys is they all care about the team first”, Whittingham said. The Utes lead the nation in interceptions (13) and the Pac-12 in rushing defense (113.5 ypg). This will be an interesting game, no doubt.
The following weekend they will be in the state of Washington to battle Washington and Washington State.
So you’d think that the line would go down after that “confusing” opening line right? The Huskies are certainly here to play. USC will definitely fight hard this game, and I see many similarities between this contest and the Stanford win under Ed Orgeron. Sitting at #10, they’ll have to look fantastic to move up in the rankings. PREDICTION: Stanford 45-38 Washington. USC (3-3 overall, 1-2 Pac-12) arguably has the most talent on offense – maybe overall talent, too – in the Pac-12 and will be playing at home.

USC had one last chance to grab the win, but Nate Orchard and Hunter Dimick sacked Cody Kessler to secure the victory.
Is there a chance that the Trojans come out on top Saturday evening? MIND-BLOWING TREND OF THE WEEKThe Under is 14-3 (82.3 percent) in the Nevada Wolf Pack’s last 17 home games.
“It depends. A lot of times when that happens, and I’m speaking completely hypothetically here, a lot of times when that happens, guys look around, look around, look around, and then they stay, and they are committed to where they were”, Helfrich said. You just have to hope it isn’t against you. Western Michigan, on the other hand, has notched 90 total points over its last two outings while averaging an explosive 522.0 total yards per game in the process. After playing the Beavers, the No. 1 Women of Troy will travel to Eugene to take on Oregon, and they will wrap things up in Washington, where they will face Washington and Washington State for the second time this season. The Trojans desperately need someone other than linebackers Cameron Smith (team-leading 53 tackles) and Su’a Cravens (team-best 5.5 tackles for losses) to step up and make plays.
Junior libero Taylor Whittingham, who was named Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week for the second time in her career on Monday, praised the new members of the team for gelling with the rest of the squad so quickly after entering the program. Masina’s brother – Uaea – plays linebacker for the Utes. They beat Michigan in the first week, but that would of course be a bumpy game for the Wolverines as their first game with a new head coach and QB.
So, in anticipation of No. 3 Utah this weekend, Jackson is going to switch his focus to the offensive side of the ball.
And Utah is still an underdog to Southern California in the odds-makers’ eyes.
