Justin Bieber to perform at MTV European Music Awards
Smirnoff is the official South African sponsor of the 2015 MTV EMAs.
To watch the live show from any corner of the world, fans will have to download the EMA app on their Android and iOS operating systems and enjoy the star-studded red carpet event followed by the main event live steam online from Milan’s Mediolanum Forum.
“The MTV audience tends to be at the forefront driving the early adoption of new technologies”, said Viacom global Media Networks president and CEO Bob Bakish before the 2015 Europe Music Awards.
“I’m pleased and excited to perform at a location and event that is unexpected for me, and to share the overwhelming and contagious energy of so many young people from all around the world”.
Ed Sheeran is clearly taking a few tips from “badass” MTV EMAs co-host Ruby Rose by admitting he won’t be following a script when they present the awards ceremony.
The MTV EMAs will be broadcast live across the globe and on MTV (DStv channel 130) on Sunday 25 October at 21:00 CAT.
This year he’s up for best Canadian, best male, best pop, best worldwide act: North America, best look, best collaboration, and biggest fans.
Performers previously announced include Pharrell Williams, Ed Sheeran & Rudimental, Andrea Bocelli, Ellie Goulding, Jason Derulo, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, twenty one pilots, Martin Garrix, Afrojack, and James Bay.
