Dayton suggests Sanders is not a real Democrat
Mr. Biden announced Wednesday that he won’t seek the Democratic presidential nomination in 2016, ending months of speculation.
Biden, who has recently been in mourning over the death of his son, Beau Biden, said his family has made it through the grieving process, but not in time to begin a campaign.
“While I will not be a candidate, I will not be silent”, Biden said.
Biden’s decision is good news for Clinton, though she hardly has a lock on the nomination. The move firms Hillary Rodham Clinton’s standing as the Democratic front-runner.
Missouri State University Political Science Professor Brian Calfano thinks Biden’s decision means there won’t be much attention to Democratic Presidential politics in Missouri. This is just one week after Clinton cited “the Republicans” as the enemy she’s most proud of in the Democratic debate.
Cole said the topics he is most interested in hearing from both parties is health care, tax reform and student loan forgiveness.
“Serving alongside him in the Senate and then [in] the administration”, Clinton said in a statement, “I saw first-hand his passion for our country and our people”.
The 72-year-old politician ran previously in 1988 and 2008 and rumours said he believed he had an opportunity against the other candidates – Hillary Clinton, Martin O’Malley, Bernie Sanders, Jim Webb and Lincoln Chafee.

Democrats also don’t think this is the last we’ll hear from Biden. But with Biden out of the race, you see there, Clinton’s Numbers jump ten points to 64%.
University of North Florida assistant professor of political science Michael Binder said a university survey released on Wednesday showed that 71 per cent of Biden supporters had picked Mrs Clinton as their second choice, while only 17 per cent chose Mr Sanders.
