All new Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice photos
Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder dishes details about how much of the source material he used during the design process of Ben Affleck‘s Batsuit.
In the beginning of the film, one of Bruce’s buildings gets destroyed and Batman will be powerless to save all the people trapped inside, Cavill was quoted as reported by COMINGSOON.NET, citing a recent issue of Total Film magazine.
“Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice” comes out March 2016 and you’ll surely be close to sick of it by the time of release. They’re going to see more when we show more.
It turns out Warner Bros.is just as aware as the rest of us that Ben Affleck should probably direct the next Batman solo movie.
At this point, it seems like people have a specific idea of what this movie is going to be – very serious, there’s not going to be any humor in it – do you think there are a few misconceptions out there? “It’s something that’s interesting and new”, Affleck said.
Batman will suit up in the Bat-Armor and take on the Man of Steel for a reason that actually makes a lot of sense. You could still make “Dark Knight Returns” into a movie, if you want. He wants it. They want it. And I’m pretty sure that we all want it, too. Thrusting him back into the scene will be very fun to watch play out onscreen-I might be the only one excited for Batman v Superman.
According to Comic Book Resources, Snyder also discussed the comic book version of the Dark Knight and how it influenced his ideas for the movie.
Snyder also went on to explain that the focus of Batman Vs. Superman is to create the larger DC cinematic universe.
In his interview with Canoe, the 49-year-old director said that as far as he is concerned, the only “Man of Steel” sequel he knows and concered about is “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice“.
Affleck, meanwhile, told Total Film (via comicbook.com) that he would be “open” to directing a stand-alone Batman film. It also stars Henry Cavill as Superman and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, with support from Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Jeremy Irons, and Laurence Fishburne. That’s about as honest, measured, and sensible an answer as you’re ever going to get from someone linked to a superhero film.
